This movie did not have the same feel as the previous movies in the franchise. Although Keanu Reeves and Kate Moss return, there was something missing.

Luke Wilson plays a Texas Football Coach for an orphanage in Fort Worth. Somehow he accepts the position after doing well coaching at other schools. As quoted by IMDB:

This one gets a Three Beer Rating!

King's Man 2021 [THREE BEERS] 🍺🍺🍺

Third in the Kingsman franchise, this round is a prequel that details the origin of the organization whose charter is to "stand against a cabal plotting a war to wipe out millions." Liked the movie although it is different than the others since it is set in the early 20th Century.

Should recognize some key names to be passed down to future members of the organization. A few surprises but nothing to throw a curve to the other movies in the franchise.

Safe first date movie. Could have waited till it was available on DVD or Streaming. That said, perfect time to introduce our 2022 rating system... Beer Ratings! See details in the sidebar!

King's Man 2021 gets "Three Beers" 🍺🍺🍺... Entertaining movie, can enjoy the show with a nice buzz!

Spiderman - No Way Home (2022)

"Peter Parker's secret identity is revealed to the entire world. Desperate for help, Peter turns to Doctor Strange to make the world forget that he is Spider-Man. The spell goes horribly wrong and shatters the multiverse, bringing in monstrous villains that could destroy the world." IMDB

Did not know there would be multiple Spidermen and Villain's too plus a Dr. Strangelove! Interesting movie with the different portals. But, could have waited for it on DVD or streaming.

This gets an "Okay to Rent" rating.

No Time to Die (2021)

Checked out the latest James Bond movie. Spoiler alert: There is time to die for James. Check it out but would wait for the DVD. This one gets a "Okay to Rent" rating.

The Grand Seduction

Here is one we found while surfing our streaming services.  Would consider it a safe first date movie, too! Small town needs a Doctor to make it eligible for a factory to be built and offer jobs to its town folk. How to get one... seduce one!

 

Fisherman's Friends

Movie about the original "buoy band" of ten men from Cornwall who sing sea shanties. Do check it out when you get a chance. Like the quirky storyline and the outcome... even better since it's a true story!
